This year's annual concert will be performed as usual in Rhayader Leisure Centre and the charity has been chosen by our Chairman. It is a very well deserved cause; "The Brian Tumour Charity".
The choir has enlisted two more wonderful guests for 2026. Soloist, Penelope George from LARS and local harpist, Isla Corbett.
Isla is a very young accomplished harpist who has played
with the choir on a few occasions and who joined us in the
production of our new CD. We look forward to listening to
this talented player on the night.
Penelope is from Skewen near Neath, and joined LARS in early 2022. She is 20 years old and is currently in her second year at Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama studying Vocal Performance and Opera Studies.
Penny plays the piano, viola, violin and clarinet. She has achieved many musical successes including LCM Musical Theatre Exam Grade 8 (Distinction), LCM Piano Exam Grade 6 (Distinction), Grade 8 Classical singing (Distinction) and an A* with 98% in Music GCSE, the highest ever music result at Dwr Y Felin Comprehensive School.
Admission £10 on the door or by ticket available from choir members, via email rhayadermvc@gmail.com or by calling 07747 803634.
